Opportunities currently exist and the position will vary depending on the individual. Due to the depth of knowledge required with regard to our applications, new employees progress from first level telephone support and software testing to escalation level, followed by on-site installation, classroom and on-site training and eventually to full consulting capabilities and management in some cases. Other career paths include sales or software development once sufficient product knowledge has been acquired. Ability to travel is critical, since many of our clients request on-site installation. Most travel is domestic, some overseas.
Skills/Requirements
- We are a Microsoft shop. Applicant must have a strong technical understanding of Windows desktop and server operating systems, Terminal Services, Citrix Metaframe, Microsoft SQL and network environments, along with previous technical support experience. MCP or MCSE certification a plus.
- Previous training experience, college degree an advantage. Previous foodservice industry experience helpful.
- All applicants need lots of patience and strong people skills. Optimum personality is cool, calm and collected at all times.
- Good verbal and written communication skills, ability to diagnose problems and communicate solutions also required.
- Applicants must currently reside in the greater Phoenix/Scottsdale area, and be willing to travel up to 2 weeks per month.
